Someone introduced me to The Customer Advantage recently. I do not know this guy personally but after reading the information and watching the videos at the website, I decided to enroll for free. Yes, there is absolutely no financial risk involved. Whether you’re a local business owner or a customer of local businesses in your neighborhood, I think you’ll definitely want to enroll for free especially during The Customer Advantage pre-launch.

I decided to write my personal The Customer Advantage review to guide and help people who want to consider The Customer Advantage as a potential profitable business opportunity or to take advantage of the deals. TCA’s mission is “Everybody wins”. As a customer of local businesses, I think if you can’t get a deal for free then a deal at 50% discount or more is good enough (at least for me).

The Customer Advantage Founder – John Milanoski

John Milanoski is the founder and creator of The Customer Advantage. You can watch him present his ideas and concept for TCA in one of the introductory videos. John Milanoski is an entrepreneur and expert in internet marketing. He is famous for the Marketing Millionaire training system.

His advice is place yourself in front of a trend, and let the growing forces propel you to wealth. For example, Andrew Carnegie got involved in steel manufacturing (although at the beginning Carnegie knew absolutely nothing about steel production) because he foresaw the growth of the US railroad network. Bill Gates and Steve Jobs took advantage of the personal computer revolution. Similarly, the founders of Google drop out of their post-graduate studies to built a search engine company although they were not the first search engine in the marketplace. Now, Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook is being propelled by the popularity of social networking and social media.

John Milanoski’s conclusion is that all these trends happened and are actually beyond the control of these human beings. They profited because they took advantage of a growing trend.

John Milanoski has been observing trends in the marketplace for many years. He foresees the local businesses and marketplace benefiting from the influence and use of social media (through viral marketing and word of mouth marketing). He decided to combine a network marketing structure with the existing and growing trend of local consumer or business services that offer local shopping discounts which are promoted by social media and social networking.

The addition of the network marketing element differentiates The Customer Advantage from the two forerunning companies in this marketing segment – Groupon.com and LivingSocial.com. You should note that Groupon currently has more than 40 million subscribers. Living Social has more than 10 million subscribers. When I enrolled for free at The Customer Advantage it had only 78,000+ members but growing by more than 600 new members per day. So I think you would be wise to follow me now before it gets to the millions of members. The earlier you get in, the more profitable it will be for you. (I will explain The Customer Advantage compensation plan in detail in another post.)

The Customer Advantage – How It Works

So what’s the business model and how does it work?

New members enroll for FREE at The Customer Advantage. Every day each member is emailed an offer of a product or service at a substantial discount. This offer is provided by a local business. The discount is typically in the range of 50%. A member can buy the coupon or voucher on offer to take advantage of the deal on offer. The local business benefits from new customer traffic and potential increase in sales. This part of the business model is similar to the Groupon and Living Social companies.

The personal referral of new members (i.e. member invitation only) is the network marketing element of the business model. After a new member signs up, The Customer Advantage provides him / her with a personalized and replicated website to promote to new members, friends and colleagues. Promotion is optional. You can just make use of the daily deals if you are not interested in the networking marketing component.

However, if your direct referral makes a purchase, you will receive 5% of that purchase price. You will also get a 5% override commission on all members in your downline through 5 generational levels. That could be a potential stream of earnings. If you enroll a local business, you can get 2% commission on all sales provided by the offers of the referred local business.

The Customer Advantage – For Local Business Owners

This can be done in addition to getting yourself to join personally by enrolling for FREE at The Customer Advantage as a normal member.

The Customer Advantage is in pre-launch phase at the time of this post. This means TCA will concentrate on recruiting new businesses and new members. Currently, the daily coupons or vouchers are not offered.
But they are expected to start eventually, initially only in the United States. This will spread to other countries as the company grows. However, international members can still enroll now – and focus on the network marketing component.

Like any pre-launch, the viability of the company is uncertain. For example, the company’s ability to gain market share from the business leaders in this marketing segment. (However, you could also view the network marketing component as a real business opportunity.) Secondly, the leadership skills of the company directors.

You may recall that Google offered to buy Groupon for more than 6 billion USD recently. Therefore, the non-network marketing part of The Customer Advantage business model has been validated by Google. And the networking marketing part makes it only better – a win win for local consumers and local businesses (the members) and for TCA itself.

A key to the success of The Customer Advantage as a company is the abilities of existing members to recruit and build relationships with new potential members. Recommendations and personal branding are critical to its viability. Most of the members will probably just depend on the TCA replicated website to build their business.

The Customer Advantage – My Conclusion

The Customer Advantage is using a business model that is proven in the marketplace. So the probability of success is high. I think this is a low risk business opportunity for a network marketing novice or anyone interested in diversifying their business or multiple income streams. It is absolutely no risk for members just interested in buying the deals at a discount – TCA says it will always be FREE for such members.
